Stanford’s Vegetation Management Plan for its proposed development acknowledges that

“under current conditions, as modeled, the project parcel would exhibit high intensity fire and put the surrounding homes and infrastructure at risk because suppression resources would have trouble safely directly attacking the fire and direct suppression effectiveness might be limited during the first burn period.”
