Save the Frog Pond

The Town Council has agreed that building townhouses near the Frog Pond would not be a good idea, given input from town residents.

The next step is to get legal protection for a wildlife and scenic corridor that includes the Frog Pond site and goes from the Hawthorns property on Alpine Road, which is now part of the Windy HIll Open Space to the Frog Pond. This includes the trail alongside Alpine Road opposite Roberts market and the trail alongside Alpine Road that passes Portola Valley Ranch and Corte Madera School.
